Dork Dynasty: This is Your Future Wisconsin if You Don’t Vote November 4th

Used through "Fair Use."

Dork Dynasty indeed. Used through “Fair Use.”

If you haven’t lost the contents of your stomach after viewing the above picture read on. This recent picture of “reality” TV “star” and bigot, Phil Robertson, his wife, Lt. Governor Rebecca Clownfish Kleefisch, her husband and state Representative, Joel, and Governor Scott Walker along with his wife surfaced on the internet over the past couple of weeks.

Nice to see the state governor cavorting with a yuppie turned fake “redneck,” turned anti-gay and racist bigot, Robertson. Here are some quotes from this “redneck” and right wing hero:

“It seems like, to me, a vagina — as a man — would be more desirable than a man’s anus. That’s just me. I’m just thinking: There’s more there! She’s got more to offer. I mean, come on, dudes! You know what I’m saying? But hey, sin: It’s not logical, my man. It’s just not logical,”

“Start with homosexual behavior and just morph out from there. Bestiality, sleeping around with this woman and that woman and that woman and those men.”

On race issues and denial of racism:

“I never, with my eyes, saw the mistreatment of any black person. Not once. Where we lived was all farmers. The blacks worked for the farmers. I hoed cotton with them. I’m with the blacks, because we’re white trash. We’re going across the field. … They’re singing and happy. I never heard one of them, one black person, say, ‘I tell you what: These doggone white people’ — not a word!

“Pre-entitlement, pre-welfare, you say: Were they happy? They were godly; they were happy; no one was singing the blues,” GQ quotes Robertson as saying.

This is who the Wisconsin governor cavorts with and who is a hero among the anti-wildlife hate sites that plague the internet. But let’s not forget about the other person in the ridiculous outfit in this picture, convicted wildlife violator and state Representative Joel Kleefisch. On January 9, 2013 Kleefisch was cited by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources and convicted of: Fail/Register Deer or Bear in Unit of Kill. In other words he was convicted of what is essentially poaching but received only a slap on the wrist. No surprise but what is especially disturbing about this is that Kleefisch is the “Vice-Chair” the Assembly “Natural Resources and Sporting Heritage Committee” and makes rules and regulations involving wildlife “management” in Wisconsin. He also has a history of trying to get favorable outcomes for campaign donors that violate environmental laws and even create laws that directly benefit wealthy campaign donors. He also pushed the bill that now allows wildlife killing in our cities and near schools. This is on top of his support for the wolf kill bill, hunting and trapping in state parks, and pretty much every other extreme right wing bill passed into law in Wisconsin over the last almost four years. All Wisconsin voters should ask how a CONVICTED wildlife violator is allowed to be the Vice-Chair of the Assembly committee that crafts and approves legislation related to the very things he was convicted of blatantly disregarding.

Between Roberson and Kleefisch I am not sure which one is worse. One whores himself out to the cult of “reality” TV and makes money off of killing for sport while the other whores himself out to extreme hunting interests and goes out of his way to provide for his wealthy benefactors.

Then we have Governor Walker himself. Since becoming governor he has participated in several laughable instance where he tries to convince the state that he is a real “sportsman.” In one instance he was photographed in a camouflage jacket and “fishing.” The problem is that he is holding the fishing reel upside down. Then we have this laughable video of Walker and his clueless fawn slaying DNR Secretary, Cathy Stepp, talking about killing deer or some other nonsense.

Now in a tough reelection fight Walker has been attending canned shooting events to kill hand raised  ducks and non-native pheasants to once again show Wisconsin what kind of a true “sportsman” he is. But even his canned “hunting” of hand raised non-native pheasants didn’t go as planned for this gorp (see definition number 3 if you are not easily offended). Walker, apparently while shooting these tame birds, injured his thumb.

According to Walker, he had pulled the trigger at the same time he unlocked the safety, which it turns out, isn’t a good idea.

“I was flipping the safety at the same time I shot,” Walker said at the West Allis campaign stop. “I got the bird, but I also got the kickback on my thumb.”

Dork Dynasty indeed.

This guy and people like Joel Kleefisch control our wildlife and environment in this state. Do you really want these people given four more years to do even further damage to our wildlife and wild lands? We can change that November 4th. Get out and VOTE these clowns out of office.

Wolf Slaughter Update

As of this morning the DNR has “reported” 108 wolves killed in a week and a half. This tally does not include those killed by poachers.

Milwaukee Journal Sentinel “Outdoors” Writer Paul Smith on Wisconsin Wolf Slaughter: Nothing to See Here Move Along

The true Wisconsin "sportsmen."

Whenever the Wisconsin DNR starts to get negative feedback or when people start questioning their motives it is a sure bet that the “outdoor” writers for the state newspapers will undoubtedly jump to their defense and get the spin machine rolling. No one is more of a master of this propaganda and spin work than Milwaukee Journal Sentinel “Outdoors” writer, Paul Smith.

In one week 104 wolves have been “reported” killed during Wisconsin’s annual “mad minute” wolf killing/torture spree. The “official” DNR kill count shows 103 wolves killed but a DNR official has admitted that one wolf was killed illegally. Of course that illegally killed wolf does not count against their kill quota. Nice message to send. Poach as many wolves as you want and you may or may not (likely not) get caught and your kills will not count against the slaughter quota. How does this not encourage more poaching?

But poaching is not the concern of Paul Smith or the DNR propaganda being put forth in his latest article. Going double over kill quotas, rampant hate, illegal behavior are not nearly important as keeping tabs on the big bad “anti” presence of the so-called “Wolf Patrol.” While I am still highly dubious of this “patrol” and their motives they seem to have the killers and their propaganda artists concerned. From Smith’s latest article:

Wolves inspire an emotional response in humans, good and bad. The last week has provided ample evidence.

A group called Great Lakes Wolf Patrol set up camp in northern Wisconsin and pledged to “monitor” activities of wolf hunters and trappers. It hopes to find evidence of violations.

The group is led by Rod Coronado, an animal rights activist who was jailed in 1995 in connection with an arson attack on research facilities at Michigan State University.

Of course, patrol members are at high risk of a ticket. State law prohibits interference or harassment of hunters and trappers.

As of Wednesday, the wolf patrol reported no violations that resulted in citations, according to DNR sources. Its members also were not involved in any violent confrontations with the public.

Two patrol members did encounter a trapper in the field and secretly videotaped the exchange. The group posted the video to its Facebook page and YouTube.

The trapper no doubt disappointed the patrol. He was polite, knowledgeable, well-spoken and, from all appearances, legal.

Of course he was. Especially when we have the boogeyman of the “antis” present. Of course Smith then tries to be a “moderate” and point out the pro-poaching comments of Ted Nugent:

Ted Nugent, the musician and outdoor television celebrity, weighed in from the other side.

“Though no state has issued an adequate number of wolf tags, believe when I tell you that certain WE THE PEOPLE in touch caring Americans are killing MANY MANY more wolves than the numbnut corrupt dishonest PC government thugs allow,” Nugent wrote in an Oct. 17 Facebook post. “Kill as many as you can real conservationists. The wolf population is irresponsibly & dangerously out of control. Wolf jackets ROCK!!”

Nugent’s call to violate game laws only hurts the future of hunting.

So Smith makes sure to point out what a bad bad man the “anti” Coronado is but only talks about how “Poopy Pants” Nugent is just a simple little “musician and outdoor television celebrity.” Why not mention that Nugent is a convicted poacher, canned “hunting” pimp, one time target of a Secret Service investigation, draft dodger, and racist? Why no mention of his dark and criminal past, Mr. Smith? Or is that only reserved for the “antis.” You know those “antis” that have just as much right to be in the woods as the great white hunter? Nugent’s advocating of poaching is worthy of one sentence while Coronado’s criminal past is multi-paragraph worthy? I wouldn’t expect anything less from Mr. Smith.

Then he hits us with this;

The threats, gimmicks and spouting off at the mouth will fade soon enough. The DNR will do its best to keep the wolf kill close to its 2014 quota.

I seem to remember Smith and other pro-killing DNR mouthpieces saying the same thing when the first wolf slaughter season occurred in 2012. The “Outdoors” writers all claimed that us “antis” would just accept the wolf slaughter and go away just as many on the pro-wildlife side did after Wisconsin instituted the yearly slaughter of the state symbol of peace, the mourning dove. Well we haven’t gone away nor will we as long as Wisconsin continues to make a mockery of wildlife “management” and condones the most brutal and barbaric methods of killing wolves and other wildlife. Of course the kill everything DNR propaganda conduits like Mr. Smith are not going anywhere either. Here Smith pretends that the DNR actually cares about “science” when talking about the DNR’s new “wolf management plan.”

And hopefully it will ignore the distractions and use the best available science to guide the next, most important aspect of Wisconsin wolf management — the 2015 wolf management plan. A preliminary draft of the plan is due in December, with public hearings likely to start in January.

I wonder why Smith doesn’t talk about the vitriol that he was present for at the Wolf Advisory Committee meetings from the extreme anti-wolf groups? Numerous wildlife advocates saw Smith at these meetings and he clearly witnessed the anti-wolf hate and extremism in display on the part of representatives from the Wisconsin Wildlife Federation, Wisconsin Bear Hunters Association, and other extremist anti-wolf groups. Why not write an article about that Mr. Smith? Why instead focus on activists that by your own admission have done nothing illegal?

I am not holding my breath that he will say one word about the anti-wolf extremists behavior at these meeting or report on the how reckless the DNR has been with their “management” of wolves. Nothing to see here. Move along………..

USFWS Great Lakes Wolf Report

The USFWS recently released a very interesting report about the status of wolves in the Great Lakes. Of note were some very concerning comments about Wisconsin’s wolf “management.”

“The low end of population estimates for Michigan and Wisconsin
– 594 and 660, respectively (1,254 combined) – remained well above the numbers that might cause concern at the individual state level (100) or collectively (200); we expect further declines in the numbers of wolves in Wisconsin, however, unless levels of human caused mortality are reduced.”

“If human caused mortality from other sources (depredation control, illegal take, etc.) reflects levels detected in 2013-2014 in Wisconsin, total human caused mortality may take at least 38% of wolves in the state based on the winter 2013-2014 population estimate of 660. Therefore, we expect a continued decline in the number of wolves in Wisconsin and will evaluate the status of wolves there in the next annual post-delisting monitoring report. In next year’s report we will also be able to review the effects of the 2014-2015 hunting and trapping season and changes in regulations that affect the use of dogs to trail wolves outside of hunting seasons on the numbers of wolves in Wisconsin.”

The USFWS under the Obama Administration is no friend to the gray wolf, or any wildlife for that matter but no matter what they say in public Wisconsin’s reckless slaughter season and legalized dog fighting have to be a major concern. We will be paying attention and keep you informed.

Please keep the pressure on the Wisconsin DNR and speak out against their reckless and brutal wolf slaughter. Apparently they have received so many complaints and outraged call that a special phone line was set up.

Of Trolls, Barstool Biologists, and more Trolls: The Shakespearean Musings of Anti-Wolf Trolls

I am no stranger to blogging about wildlife advocacy issues. I started doing this in early 2012 when Wisconsin began pushing the bill that has opened the door to the current wolf slaughter and making Wisconsin the ONLY state in the country that allows the use of dogs against those wolves. Inevitably whenever any advocate for a cause writes a story on a hot button issue the know it all “barstool biologists” and trolls come out of the woodwork in an attempt to “educate” or bully those that disagree with them. My posts about the massive Wisconsin overkill have been no exception.

Almost on cue the barstool biologists began to chime in with their usual BS talking points about wolves “eating every last thing on the landscape” and if it wasn’t for the “great white hunter” to save us they would be eating your grandchildren at a bus stop while huffing and puffing and blowing your house down.

Newsflash. This blog is a place for information to be presented that is backed up by established science. In case you didn’t notice this is PRO-WILDLIFE site. Not a pro-killing site. This is NOT a debate site for trolls to bully or for barstool biologists to think that because they dress up in camo they are some kind of an expert. If you want to troll and spread that “wolves are eating everything” fear mongering nonsense there are plenty of places for that to occur. This site is NOT one of them. This site is also not a place for those supposedly on the side of wildlife to come and make stupid threats and spread other nonsense. There are other places for that too.

For the trolls, barstool biologists, and those making threats your comments will NOT appear on this site. You are wasting your time even writing your drivel. The only exception are comments so idiotic and offensive that they WILL be posted here to shame you. This is an emotional topic but please do not stoop to the level of those on the anti-wolf hate sites. Let them be the monsters and ghouls. We don’t need to be.

This is an example of the type of comment that will be deleted immediately or as in this case posted to show what we are up against. This comment from from the world renowned wildlife biologist “Gav” showing a domain out of Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. A city obviously buried in the “deep south” y’all.

“yall need to open your eyes and relive if there wasnt a season on wolves they would kill all the deer, rabbits, squirrels, and anything and everything, you guys cant live like that thinking its bad to kill wolves, if yall think its bad to then whyd you vote to reintroduce them into this state? Wisconsin would have been a million times better if they did bring them back, they kill everything. and im speaking from first hand accounts, ive seen 3 wolves kill half a herd of deer, they have almost wiped out the herd in the flambue river state forest by ladysmith, kill all the wolves then there wouldnt be anymore problems,”

These type of comments come in hourly along with the barstool biologists presenting the same sentiment and misinformation only with slightly better grammar. Then they get upset because I will not post their comments. There are plenty of site out there to post lies and misinformation about wolves. Facebook is full of them with one solely devoted to promoting poisoning, poaching, and other anarchy against wolves right here in Wisconsin. You don’t need to come to this blog and post your drivel.

As I am writing this more of the Shakespearean screeds of “Gav” just appeared in my email. Consider yourself enlightened that the words of such an endearing scholar can be made available to you:

whats wrong with Wisconsin? your living in it
whats wrong with the dnr? nothing at all!
i have a heart, but i also kill wolves

You may “have a heart” but you damn sure don’t have a dictionary. Welcome to the spam folder “Gav.” Enjoy your 15 milliseconds of fame.

Thus is the life of a pro-wildlife blogger. The stupid burns………….it burns……..

Wolf Kill Update

The kill number shows 98 as of this morning. The DNR still remains silent on the mass overkill that occurred in Zones 1 and 2 this past weekend. Let them know that we want answers and not propaganda:

Wisconsin: A Different and Very Scary Kind of Monster

This is what is called "moral and ethical" by Wisconsin wolf killers.

This is what is called “moral and ethical” by Wisconsin wolf killers.

Believe me, I have morals. That’s why I do it in an ethical and humane way. Feel sorry for them somewhere else, not commenting on my pictures because that’s pretty rude. Like I said, don’t like it? Then don’t look at it. Living in Wisconsin you’re guaranteed to see things like this all the time. You’re going to have to learn to tolerate it.
October 18 at 9:11am

The above quote and picture was forwarded to me yesterday. Upon further research the female killer of this trapped wolf claims that it weighed “115 pounds.” 115 pounds huh?

The "115 pound" puppy

The “115 pound” puppy

I didn’t know that “115 pound” puppies exist. If that pup is “115 pounds” then that woman must be about 6 foot 6 and 300 pounds. It sure doesn’t appear that way to me. What do you think? This is what passes for “ethic and morals” among the modern Wisconsin “sportsman/sportswoman.” We have to “learn to tolerate” this kind of brutality according to this and other wolf killers. No we don’t need to “tolerate” this kind of sadism.

I have lived in Wisconsin my entire life, with the exception of time away for military service. Something that poaching advocate and draft dodger, Ted Nugent, would know nothing about of course. Those of us that have lived here for any extended period of time know that there is a very sick, dark, and twisted underbelly among many that reside in this state. While the rest of the country think that Wisconsin is a state full of fun loving, cheese eating, and beer drinking yokels the true nature of the state paints a very different picture and it isn’t pretty.

Death is a way of life for a large number of Wisconsin residents. The “outdoor”pages of local newspapers like to talk about hunting and trapping as “religion” in this state. The use of dogs against wildlife is not only condoned, but encouraged by state officials. The local media also provide “brag boards” where wildlife killers can post their snuff pics showing them or their children grinning over a freshly killed animal. Killing is a way of living for a large percentage of the populace in this state and the fluffy concepts of “fair chase” and “ethics” have been thrown to the wayside in favor of easy kills and slob hunting. Hounding, baiting, trapping, trail cameras, and electronic calls are the tools of choice for the modern Wisconsin “sportsman.” Deer are killed by the hundreds of thousands in what has essentially become “drive-thru” hunting yet the shooters still complain that there isn’t enough deer or that predators are “eatin them all.” This perverted mindset was on display in a recent article by Elias Radtke in the Badger Herald. Radke repeated the ridiculous hunter and DNR propaganda about wolf populations while making sure to insult wildlife advocates in the process. He essentially states that wildlife advocates are “misguided” and the “great white hunter” and DNR can do no wrong. Here is a taste;

Before we get into the meat of the subject, keep in mind that wolves were a dangerously low populous but now are starting to become a problem in the upper Midwest. Growing populations need food, and livestock are much easier to stalk and kill than deer. Due to the growing population and the outcries of farmers across the Midwest, there have been a limited number of wolf tags opened to hunters.

I am all for conservation and have never been a hunter myself (although I do love fishing). However, this time these protesters are going too far. Wolf hunting is all about regulating population control that will benefit the ecosystem. Sure, I cried during Bambi, who didn’t? But I don’t go out and protest deer hunters. This wolf population control is necessary since we as humans have taken out most natural predators by replacing their homes with shopping malls. Not only that, but the way in which the protesters are protesting is incredibly dangerous.

The delusional blather gets even better (or worse):

Whose idea was it to go “shadow” a group of people with loaded guns who don’t want protesters to be there? That sounds about as clever as making toast in the bathtub to ‘em. “Oh, silly kid we are there to monitor them and make sure they feel guilty and don’t do bad things!” Wrong. That is what the Department of Natural Resources is there for, and they are smart enough to not make the people with guns agitated and fidgety.

That being said, I am by no means trying to paint the hunters in question in a violent light. Hunters usually provide enough policing among themselves. I have many good friends who enjoy the sport, and they seem to be the strictest enforcers of rules.

“Police themselves,” huh? You mean like how they “policed themselves” into going double over the kill quota in Zone 2? Finally, I literally spit water all over the screen of my Mac. (What “libtard” doesn’t use a Mac?) when I read the final paragraph:

The DNR does a fantastic job of keeping on top of these things. While wolves look like cute dogs, they are actually destroying property and tipping the balance of ecosystems. So go donate money or write a scathing letter if you wish to make a difference. Then snuggle next to a fire with a hot cup of coco, with warm feelings in your heart and safety on your mind. Let the hunters do what they do best. There is a reason it never became a spectator sport.

Yes what a “fantastic” job they did this past weekend. I debated whether to address or ignore the ignorant blather and regurgitation of anti-wolf propaganda present in that article. I decided that people must see how brainwashed and deluded many in our state have become and how they use the media as a tool to present misinformation. People like Mr. Radtke really believe that hunters “police themselves” and that the DNR has the best interest of wildlife in mind. That is what is wrong with Wisconsin. Too many that live here and those outside the state believe the fluffy propaganda and nonsense that Wisconsin is just a good ole cheese and beer loving state with friendly people. It is not. Wisconsin has a dark and toxic underbelly that the oblivious citizens of the state need to see as well as those from outside. “Let the hunters do what they do best? In Wisconsin that means they can lie as evidenced by the picture above. In Wisconsin that means that they can double kill quotas with no repercussions. In Wisconsin they can recklessly use dogs and traps to kill whatever they want, be given cover by the DNR, and be called “conservationists.” In Wisconsin that means they can take to anti-wolf hate sites on social media and threaten poaching, poison, law breaking, and total anarchy. So yeah, I guess hunters in Wisconsin are indeed “doing what they do best.”

Living to kill. Is that the kind of state you want to live in? Are those the kind of people that you want as your neighbors? These are the monsters inhabiting our state. With Halloween around the corner you don’t need to look for the scary costumes of ghosts and ghouls to see monsters. Just look for the ones with camo hats and dead eyes. Those are the real monsters that walk among us. Not those “115 pound” puppies.

Kill Number Update

As of today the DNR has “reported” that 92 wolves have been killed across the six “Zones” that divide the entire state into killing areas. Four of the “Zones” are now closed with two remaining open. Two of the zones, 1 and 2, went significantly over their allotted kill quota. Zone 1 is currently five (now magically 4?) over the quota of 32 while Zone 2 is a staggering 14 over the allotted kill quota of 15. As of this morning the Wisconsin DNR remains completely apathetic to the mass overkill and even makes clear that wolves in the bottom two third of the state are to be eradicated:

Department of Natural Resources Wildlife Management director Tom Hauge said as the DNR is getting more experience with the wolf hunt, the hunters are getting experienced as well.

“I think it’s reasonable to expect that the experience that hunters and trappers gained over the first two years could contribute to an increased pace of harvest for 2014,” Hauge said.

Hauge says the DNR is working to keep wolves to the northern third of the state through to use of larger wolf quotas in Zone 6. “It is an area of the state that our management is attempting to discourage wolf population establishment in that part of the state.”

There was an overrun on the wolf harvest in zone two, but most of the other zones have maintained a close number to the desired harvest numbers.

So the DNR wants to keep wolves in small pockets in the north where they will be easier to kill apparently. What is wrong with this state? Also take note that Zone 3 has very few kills out of the allotted quota. This is the very zone that was reserved last year as a hounder killing ground. Could the same thing be in store this year? And no, we are not going to “learn to tolerate” that.

Horrific Photograph Shows True Nature of Wisconsin “Sportsmen”

There is a new photograph making the rounds on the internet showing a Wisconsin wolf killer posing with a dead wolf and a live one in a trap in the background. I was forwarded this today along with the caption apparently written by the wolf killer on one of the wildlife snuff sites.

The true Wisconsin

The true Wisconsin “sportsman.”

“Cought (it wouldn’t be a wolf hater without poor grammar) these two yesterday just in time
Before the wolf quota was filled. I believe it was
The mother and her pup but I’m not positive.
I missed two wolves the day before at this same location
So I re arranged where I place the lure, urine and stepping
Sticks and it paid off. “

This is your “sportsman” Wisconsin. Be proud. Remind you of anyone?

Another Wolf Kill Zone Goes Over Quota: Silence From DNR

This picture out of the Wisconsin killing fields has been making the rounds on the internet. This is just one of the 85 wolves reported killed since last Wednesday.

This picture out of the Wisconsin killing fields has been making the rounds on the internet. This is just one of the 85 wolves reported killed since last Wednesday. Source unknown and used under “Fair Use.”

“Screw the DNR. Keep shooting boys. .22 in the guts and watch em run. SSS.”

The above comment was posted yesterday to the Facebook anti-wolf hate site “Wisconsin Wolf Hunting.” While ghoulish in it’s own right this comment is just a small taste of the bloodthirsty anarchy being fomented on that and the other anti-wolf sites infecting the internet regarding Wisconsin’s third wolf slaughter season.

This past weekend the DNR slowly released information that 85 wolves have been “reported” killed since last Wednesday. Of the six killing zones two of them, Zones 1 and 2, reported kill numbers well over the established quota. Zone 2 was 14 (14!!!!) over the kill quota of 15 and Zone 1 (so far) went three over the kill quota of 32. After today only two of the killing zones will remain open. The first is Zone 3, where hounders killed numerous wolves last year, and Zone 6 which constitutes the bottom two-thirds of the state.

Is the DNR concerned that two zones have exceeded the established kill quotas? Apparently not. While the anti-wolf hate sites keep preaching “SSS,” “gut shooting,” and total anarchy the DNR has remained completely silent. Why might this be? Could it be because the DNR doesn’t care how many wolves get killed this year? Could it be incompetence on their part? Or could it be something else? I lean toward apathy on the part of the DNR along with pandering to the hounders and wolf haters.

Another disturbing aspect of this silence centers around how much attention the DNR is paying to the so-called “Wolf Patrol” that claims to be monitoring the activity of wolf killers in Wisconsin. Here is what a member of the “Wolf Patrol” had to say about their activities and that of the DNR wardens they observed this weekend:

“In just five short days, 60 wolves have been slaughtered statewide, and from what we have witnessed, poaching and illegal hunting and trapping is commonplace. Trap locations are not being monitored every 24 hours as required by law, and are often placed dangerously close to roads and trails where lazy unethical trappers can check on them without leaving their vehicles. After driving and hiking literally hundreds of miles of rural and forest roads filled with hunters, the only place we have seen DNR wardens has been at our base camp watching us.”

I haven’t made a decision about where I stand on the whole purpose of the “Wolf Patrol” but this type of information does not surprise me. Why should the DNR behave any differently than they have over the past two killing seasons? Blatant violations have been reported with photographic and videotaped evidence provided in 2012 and 2013 and the DNR flat out refused to take any actions on most of these violations. With the exception of a couple of extreme violations the DNR refused to take law enforcement action against most offenders. Should we be surprised that they are more concerned with the presence of a few activists rather than the myriad of illegal behavior occurring in our woods?

Another side effect of the rapid and massive kill rates are the inevitable parroting of anti-wolf talking points concerning population numbers. As the past couple of years have shown the vast majority of wolves killed are UNDER one year of age. They are mostly killing puppies born this year. While wolf pups already suffer up to a 60 percent mortality rate the inclusion of dogs, traps, and shooting makes it highly likely that most if not all of the young in these areas have been wiped out again this year. It should also come as no shock that the wolf killers have long been scouting, baiting, and “training” their dogs in areas thus allowing them to pinpoint pack locations. People on the ground have reported that known pack areas are absolutely saturated with traps leading to fears that entire packs are being wiped out as happened last year in some areas according to testimony before the Wolf Advisory Committee.

The 24/7/365 hound “training” against wolves is also very concerning and the large number of dogs allegedly killed by wolves over the past two years bears this out. This year 22 hounds have been killed. Each one of these dog deaths result in a $2500 payment from the DNR to the hounders. For most of the year their dogs are “shiteaters” and “culls” until one gets killed by a wolf and suddenly they become “family” that are now worth $10,000. The stats of killed dogs this year show some very interesting facts. Several of the incidents showed multiple dogs killed and injured and there were several older dogs killed as well. 10 of the 22 killed dogs were over 6 and 4 were over 10. Call me crazy but getting a nice fat $2500 check from the DNR sure is easier than feeding or providing veterinary care for “shiteaters” and “culls” isn’t it? It is pretty obvious that the 24/7/365 “training” of hounds against wolves allowed wolf killers to pinpoint pack locations while making money in the process. It is no coincidence that Zone 2 where the kill number was double the quota, numerous hounds were killed often in a single incident. One might think that the dogs were being used as bait to pinpoint pack locations to seed the areas with traps and bait. Hmmmmm.

All of this has been allowed to happen right under the noses of our DNR and what do we get from them? Absolute silence. The anti-wolf hate sites have long taunted wildlife advocates and have now turned their vitriol toward the DNR. The wolf haters are now taunting the DNR with threats of poaching, poisoning, encouraging wolf killers not to pay attention to quotas, and to kill as many wolves as possible before a zone closes. The silence from the DNR speaks volumes as does their complete and total inaction on the mass overkill and violations occurring all over our lands. Or was this the plan all along?

Pant Crapping Draft Dodger and Convicted Poacher Ted Nugent Advocates Poaching of Wolves

Screen Shot 2014-10-18 at 1.48.52 PM

I will let the words of this washed up draft dodging musician turned racist rightwing blowhard and convicted poacher speak for themselves:

Ted Nugent

WISCONSIN Spirit BloodBrothers the Weisner family trapped this stunning wolf. Though no state has issued an adeqaute number of wolf tags, believe when I tell you that certain WE THE PEOPLE in touch caring Americans are killing MANY MANY more wolves than the numbnut corrupt dishonest PC government thugs allow. Kill as many as you can real conservationists. The wolf population is irresponsibly & dangerously out of control. Wolf jackets ROCK!!

I guess threatening the president and being a convicted poacher are not enough for this pant crapping blowhard. He still apparently does not understand that poaching is against the law. Your 15 minutes of fame ended about 40 years ago, Ted. We are still ready to take you up on your offer, or did you crap your pants again in anticipation of that?
